A quiet corner on 6th Street where the espresso is precise, the cocktails are considered, and nothing rushes you.
Our Story
Kim Ngân Xoang opened with a simple conviction: a café should be a place you actually want to stay. Not a pit stop. Not a co-working annex. A room with good light, honest coffee, and the kind of silence that feels generous rather than empty.
The name carries meaning — Thảo Dược speaks to the herbal traditions behind every blend we choose, Kim Ngân to the care we put into each transaction, and Xoang to the space itself: a room that breathes. We source single-origin beans from roasters who treat the crop with respect, and our bar program shifts with the seasons rather than the trends.
The Space
We designed Kim Ngân Xoang to feel like the inside of a good book — quiet, unhurried, with enough warmth that you don't want to leave.
The interior is pared back: pale oak, matte black fixtures, and a wall of windows that face the street without performing for it. There are four communal tables, a few corner seats, and a standing bar for those who prefer to hover. The music is low. The lighting softens as evening approaches. By night, the coffee program closes and the bar takes over — same room, different rhythm.
